MIA Airport appoints Belina Neumann as non-executive director
Malta International Airport plc has issued further details regarding the appointment of Ms Belina Neumann as a non-executive director of the company. The company announcement, dated 4 June 2026 and issued in terms of Chapter 5 of the Capital Markets Rules, follows an earlier announcement dated 20 May 2026 in which the company disclosed that Ms Neumann had been appointed with effect from that date.

In accordance with Capital Markets Rule 5.20, Malta International Airport provided additional information for public disclosure. The company confirmed Ms Neumann’s function as non-executive director and stated that she has no significant principal activity outside the company to report. It also stated that she has no current or past directorships, over the previous five years, in other companies with securities traded on a stock exchange. Other disclosures required under Capital Markets Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9 were also marked as not applicable.

On sustainability, Malta International Airport said it published its first Net Zero Carbon Plan, met the criteria to progress to Level 3 of the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme and began work on a new €4 million photovoltaic farm in the final quarter of 2024.
