Two government securities admitted to exchange

The Malta Stock Exchange has announced the admission of two new Malta Government Stock issues to its Official List through Exchange Notice No. 2519, dated 11 August 2026.

The securities comprise €99,196,200 nominal of 3.80% Malta Government Stock 2036 (IV) and €63,545,500 nominal of 4.25% Malta Government Stock 2046 (II).

Together, the two admissions represent approximately €162.74 million in nominal government securities.

Trading expected to commence on 12 August

The Malta Stock Exchange said trading in both securities is expected to commence on 12 August 2026.

The admission follows the issuance process for the two Malta Government Stocks and brings securities with different maturity profiles onto the exchange.

New listings expand Malta sovereign bond market

The listings add to the Maltese sovereign debt securities available for secondary-market trading on the Malta Stock Exchange.

The admission follows the August 2026 issuance of the two Malta Government Stocks, comprising securities maturing in 2036 and 2046, which were subsequently admitted to the Malta Stock Exchange Official List.
